A market researcher and expert in brand measurement who works with many brand health models and measurement tools.

Majid Khoury has spent almost three decades working exclusively in the area of advertising and brand research. Majid began his career in the mid-80s at Tandemar Research (now Ipsos ASI) in Montreal and Toronto. Tandemar Research was the first specialized advertising research in Canada and Majid was their first employee.

Majid moved to Vancouver in 1992 as Vice President for Farrell Research. In 1996, Majid started his own advertising research boutique, market explorers. The company was a success in the local market and was sold to Ipsos ASI 9 years later.  At Ipsos, Majid played the role of Senior Vice President responsible for Ipsos advertising and brand research across Western North America working with major local and global brands.

In 2012, Majid left the corporate word and is currently an independent market researcher and strategist supporting the work of advertising agencies and clients across some of Western Canada’s largest advertisers in the areas of packaged goods, social marketing, financial services, technology and telecommunications, and retail.

Majid holds an MBA with specialization in marketing from Concordia University and a Certificate in Advertising from University of Montreal. Majid is a big supporter of local organizations and is currently volunteering his research expertise to three not-for-profit organizations.
