Known Investigations is a new business concept that was created to address an emerging market opportunity. We worked closely with an existing client to develop a brand that positioned the company within the professional services domain. The research concluded that the industry is in need of disruption; it’s fragmented, it’s not moderated closely or well, it’s populated by a lot of low-qualified individuals, and often results in unethical procedures and poor results. Consequently, there are a lot of justifiable rational and irrational purchase barriers. Known has been entirely designed to rise above that noise to create a new standard in professional investigations.
We started with customer and desk research, identifying insights upon which to build a plan. We then developed the positioning and outlined the associated business implications. Next came the brand concept and name, followed closely by key messaging, graphic identity, and a new website. The client was in market and securing contracts within 12 weeks.
